CNA TRAINING

Time Frame: 75 hours

​Description:  WI DHS, Division of Quality Assurance- Approved, WI Nurse Aide Training Program (CNA).

​

- This program includes both classroom instruction, lab skills, and hands-on clinical experience. 

-Successful completion of the program provides eligibility to take the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Competency Exam administered by D&S Headmaster.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

Time Frame: 4 hours

Description: AHA Basic Life Support

​(BLS) for Healthcare Provider

- Live, In-Person Classes 

- This course is designed for students who do not have a current BLS certification.

- Includes Adult, Child, & Infant CPR.

- AHA certification card is provided.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (RENEWAL)

​Time Frame: 4 hours

Description: AHA Basic Life Support

- Live, In-Person Classes 

- This course is designed for students who have a current BLS certification.

- Includes Adult, Child, & Infant CPR.

- AHA certification card is provided.

AHA Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR & AED 

Time Frame: 6-7 hours

Description: AHA Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR & AED Certification

-Live, In-Person Classes

-Course designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a CPR, AED & First Aid course completion card for their job, regulatory or other requirements; or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

COMMUNITY-BASED RESIDENTIAL FACILITY (CBRF) TRAINING 

Time Frame: 2-14 hours

Description: WI DHS-Approved CBRF Training & Certification

-Live, In-Person Classes

-Courses designed for staff of Adult Day Cares (ADC), Adult Family Homes (AFH), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Residential Care Apartment Complexes (RCAC), or Community­ Based Residential Facilities (CBRF).

-Courses include Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, First Aid & Choking, and Fire Safety

-Upon successful completion of the course(s), your information will be submitted to Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Employee Registry.
